The Situation
re-wrap UK wanted to validate and strengthen its sustainability commitments through the globally recognised B Corp certification. Their model already centred on social impact, working with artisans, marginalised communities and sustainable fabrics, yet the pathway to certification demanded rigour across governance, transparency, and supply chain practices. They needed a partner to help understand the baseline, identify strengths and gaps, and guide them in meeting the stringent performance requirements across diverse impact areas without losing sight of their authentic mission.
Our Approach
We worked closely with re-wrap UK, as well as Sanmaan Exports, their dedicated supply chain based in India, mapping their baseline and aligning every operational dimension with B Corp standards. Our approach combined deep sustainability expertise with a structured methodology, equipping them to navigate the certification journey while maintaining their unique social ethos.
Understanding the Context
We studied re-wrap’s context, from community-driven supply chains to fabric sourcing, identifying alignment with B Corp principles and the specific areas needing strengthening to achieve certification goals.
Guided Traverse
We provided step-by-step guidance on B Impact Assessment, policies, and metrics, ensuring re-wrap could translate its values into measurable standards required for B Corp recognition. Whether it was supply chain due diligence or living wage analysis, Sanmaan and re-wrap looked at every aspect that was significant.
Independent Traverse
re-wrap’s team, equipped with tools and clarity, started taking ownership of the sustainability journey, embedding learnings into everyday processes and confidently managing ongoing improvements.
Transformation
re-wrap UK achieved B Corp certification, validating their long-standing commitment to sustainability. This recognition strengthened credibility, unlocked new networks, and positioned them as leaders in ethical textiles and community empowerment.
