Dhaval Patel is a Sustainability Consultant at SAGE Sustainability with a deep interest in energy systems, GHG accounting, and decarbonisation. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Gandhinagar and an MBA in Sustainability Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal.

Before joining SAGE, Dhaval spent four years in the heavy machinery manufacturing sector, working across the supply chain. This hands-on industrial experience gave him a practical understanding of energy use, emissions hotspots, and the operational realities of transitioning toward low-carbon processes.

At SAGE, Dhaval supports clients with Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG accounting, sustainability disclosures aligned to frameworks such as GRI and BRSR, lifecycle assessments, and materiality analyses. He is known for his structured, data-driven approach, clear documentation, and thoughtful engagement with client teams across industries.

Grounded, observant, and solutions-focused, Dhaval brings together technical rigour and calm execution. Outside work, he enjoys reading, cooking, and travelling to serene natural spaces that inspire reflection and balance.
